Gnù - Wildebeest

Connochaetes taurinus
Siamo abituati a vederli in branchi immensi in Africa centrale.
---We use to see this animal in immense numbers in Central
Africa.Who didn't ever see a documentary about Serengeti
and Masai Mara?
Here in Southern Africa It seems a quiet animal:thinking
about fresh grass like all the other grass eaters.
Never,in my small experience,in large groups.
And I prefer this quiet version of the Wildebeest.
When you see them in central Africa there's something
terrific,in my opinion. All these animal running and running
whith every kind of predator trying to catch them and crocodiles
waiting in the rivers...
I think they also prefer Southern Africa...
