Otocyon megalotis
Mi piace di più il nome inglese,diciamolo subito.
Anche se non è una volpe.
Si tratta di un animale che fa storia a sè.
Un po'buffo con le sue enormi orecchie,che usa in modo
originale.
L'Otocione mangia insetti e camminando usa le orecchie
per sentire cosa si muove sottoterra.
Ha un'andatura molto caratteristica:pochi passi,poi si
ferma ad ascoltare puntando il terreno e se c'è qualcosa
inizia a scavare frenetico.Spessissimo sono due o tre insieme.

The way to move is very characteristic:

and digging very fast if it ear an insect moving
in the ground.
Very often you can see two or three of them
moving together.
