Sciacalli - Jackals

Forse perchè tutti lo odiano,a me lo Sciacallo
è simpatico.
Forse perchè quando sente vicini i leoni abbaia
invece di ululare.
E quando è successo a me,mentre con le torce
scrutavamo il buio,ho pensato "piccolo amico,
sei utile,utilissimo,non allontanarti dal mio campo".
Forse lo stesso pensiero che ha fatto qualche mio antenato
qualche centinaio di migliaia di anni fa...

Maybe because when he feels the lions coming,he barks
instead of howling.
And when it happened to me,while we were watching the
darkness with the torches,I tought "small friend,you are
so useful,don't go away from my camp".
Maybe the same tought of ancient men at the beginning
of time...
