L'Otocione - Bat Eared Fox

Mi piace di più il nome inglese,diciamolo subito.
Anche se non è una volpe.
Si tratta di un animale che fa storia a sè.
Un po'buffo con le sue enormi orecchie,che usa in modo
originale.
L'Otocione mangia insetti e camminando usa le orecchie
per sentire cosa si muove sottoterra.
Ha un'andatura molto caratteristica:pochi passi,poi si
ferma ad ascoltare puntando il terreno e se c'è qualcosa
inizia a scavare frenetico.Spessissimo sono due o tre insieme.

This strange animal eats insects and uses its big
ears to hear what happens underground.
The way to move is very characteristic:
few steps and then it stop watching the ground,
and digging very fast if it ear an insect moving
in the ground.
Very often you can see two or three of them
moving together.
